Composition and Mechanism
Typically telmisartan 40/80 mg + amlodipine 5 mg, where telmisartan (ARB) blocks angiotensin II to relax vessels, and amlodipine (calcium channel blocker) dilates arteries by inhibiting calcium influx. This synergy provides 24-hour BP reduction with fewer side effects than monotherapy.
